Next Sunday we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper. If you would like to participate but are unable to be here, see Derek or one of the Elders to arrange another time. Don’t be shy about taking full advantage of this important gesture of unity with Christ and his body. Following the service, join us for a fellowship meal downstairs. See the sign-up in the back.

Derek has been invited to provide a weekend of teaching on Christian unity. He will be traveling back to Fairview, Michigan, for the sessions, which begin Friday evening, September 9th. Tony Barone will be our guest speaker on Sunday, September 11th.

Tuesday, August 30th
Elders’ meeting at 6:30 pm at the church. Come prepared to discuss the Godawa article on “Mesopotamian Cosmic Geography.”

Wednesday, August 31st
Choir practice at the church at 6:00 pm

Bible Study and Prayer Meeting at 7:00 pm. We are in Chapter 6 of our study in Hebrews (“The Supremacy of Christ”). Be meditating on the next hymn we will discuss (“More Love to Thee”). Extra copies of the hymn are on the back table along with T. David Gordon’s “Hymns: Criteria for Making Good Ones.”

Saturday, September 10th
We are all invited to attend an ISI Fredonia picnic hosted by Harriett Rupp at her home on Versailles Road in Perrysburg. Picnic begins at 12:00 noon. Bring a dish to pass.

The annual ISI Fall Banquet will be held at Banchetti Banquet Facility, 550 North French Road, Amherst beginning at 6:15 pm. Jerry Gillis, Lead Pastor at The Chapel at Crosspoint is guest speaker. Cost is $20 per person. RSVP to Harriett Rupp by September 23.
