Announcements 

The Eden United Methodist Church is sponsoring a “Crop Walk” again this year (October 1^st) to help support the Eden/North Collins Food Pantry and to fight world hunger.  See brochures in back for details.

Next month 3DYouth gets back on track.  Stay tuned for meeting dates and times (and a new schedule of activities) as we prepare for another season of growing together in faith and relationships.

The church’s financial statements for July and August 2017 are posted for review in the office over the copy machine.

Monday, September 18^th

AA meets downstairs from 8:00-9:15 pm.

Wednesday, September 20^th

Bible study and prayer meets at the church at 7:00 pm.  We only have another week or so in our study of the great themes of Genesis.  We’re finishing Chapter 50 and are looking at Joseph’s future hope in the Promised Land.  We’re almost done, but it’s still a great time to join us!

Sunday, September 24^th

Don’t miss our final Sunday Night Out for the season.  Gather at the Doles’ pond around 4:00 pm.  Hot dogs (or something) will be provided.  Bring a dish to pass.

Get the most out of the service by asking about our special listening devices.  Pick up one in the back or see an usher for help.  If yours isn’t working properly, don’t be bashful about raising your hand to ask for assistance.
