Ladies’ Bible Study meets at Evie Mann’s home at 8:00 pm with a study entitled, “Praying the Psalms”. See Alice Yoder for more information.

Wednesday, May 28th
Choir practice at the church at 6:00 pm.

Bible Study and Prayer Meeting begins at 7:00 pm. We are in the fourth chapter of Daniel (“Beauty and the Beast”). It’s a great time to join us!

The Wednesday evening Bible study group is renewing its commitment to be a prayer ministry of the church. If you have special items for prayer, let Derek know, and you can be assured that we will hold you up with fervent prayers before the Lord. Also, don’t be bashful to request that special needs get circulated throughout the congregation by means of our phone tree.

Sunday, June 1st
Next Sunday we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper. A fellowship meal is not being planned following Communion.

Don’t forget that this year’s CCCC Annual Meeting will be in our own backyard! Well, almost. The 60th Family Conference is scheduled for July 21-24 at the Adam’s Mark Hotel in Buffalo. This year’s theme is “Connected in Christ”. Check out the back table for more information on seminars, accommodations, and registration. (Childcare help is needed at the CCCC Annual Conference! Choose the age group and time that fits for you. See Lori Clapper for details.)

During this time of increasing expenses, we are beginning to lag behind in some of our financial commitments. Let’s join together with generous, thankful hearts, praying that God would continue to bless the ministry that extends outward from this place. For he is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think. (Ephesians 3:20).

Get the most out of the service by asking about our special listening devices. Pick up one in the back or see an usher.

We are overwhelmed with your generosity – although we shouldn’t be, since God’s love is always apparent here at First Congregational Church. We thank you for this wonderful gift, yet another expression of your love.

The public reading of Scripture is an important part of corporate worship (1 Timothy 4:13). To help make this time even more meaningful, it has been suggested that each person take a month’s worth of consecutive readings. If you would like to join in the experiment and serve the church by being part of this rotation, let Derek know.

The public reading of Scripture is an important part of corporate worship (1 Timothy 4:13). To help make this time even more meaningful, it has been suggested that each person take a month’s worth of consecutive readings. If you would like to join in the experiment and serve the church by being part of this rotation, let Derek know.
