ANNOUNCEMENTS
Wednesday, July 1st
Wednesday Evening Bible Study and Prayer Meeting meets at 7:00 pm. Join us as we make our way through the book of James in a study called “BROTHER TO BROTHER”. We are nearing the end of Chapter 4. It’s a great time to join us.
Next Sunday, July 5th
Next week we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper. If you would like to participate but are unable to be here, see Derek or one of the Elders to arrange another time. Don’t be shy about taking full advantage of this important gesture of unity with Christ and his body.
Sunday School may be in Summer recess, but don’t let that keep you from asking tough questions! During the Summer months, if there are questions or comments related to the morning message, let’s linger for a minute or so (whoever wants to) and discuss them. After people have gone through the line, we can find a quiet place for a brief, impromptu Q&A session. This is experimental, strictly voluntary, but it could be lots of fun! In any case, have a restful, refreshing Summer! – Derek
Get the most out of the services by asking about our special listening devices. Pick up one in the back or see an usher for help. If yours isn’t working properly, don’t be bashful about raising your hand to ask for assistance.

Each year, CCC Conference Minister Steve Gammon invites member churches to set aside one Sunday in May to highlight the ministries, developments, and special needs of our Conference. We have designated May 24th Conference Sunday. At that time, we will distribute special information and prayer requests and collect a second offering to help support the ongoing ministries of the CCCC.
If you haven’t made summer vacation plans yet, you may want to consider Waterloo, Iowa! Seriously, Waterloo will host the 61st Annual CCCC Family Conference July 20-23. This year’s theme is “Cooperating for Christ”. Check out the back table for more information on seminars, accommodations, and registration. See you in Waterloo!
Get the most out of the services by asking about our special listening devices. Pick up one in the back or see an usher for help. If yours isn’t working properly, don’t be bashful about raising your hand to ask for assistance.

Join us for our 7th Annual FCC Leadership Forum. We are pleased to welcome back T. David Gordon, Professor of Greek and Religion at Grove City College. Dr. Gordon will address the theme of developing and preserving a biblical worldview. He believes that the dangers of conformity with the world are just as great in our day as they were in Paul’s. How can we develop a consistently Christian understanding of reality, in the midst of so many things around us that appear normal but are not? This question will be the focus of our weekend together.
The FCC Leadership Forum will include two morning sessions, beginning at 9:30 am and will conclude by mid-afternoon with a third session. Dr. Gordon will remain with us on the Lord’s Day, at which time he will address our adult Sunday School class and preach during our family worship time. See the bulletin insert and sign-up for this important and exciting event.
Interest has been expressed in joining the church. If others would like to be part of a class for prospective members, see Derek or one of the Elders. The class is designed for those considering church membership. If you’re already a member, but still don’t have the foggiest idea what American Congregationalism is all about, come and sit in on this three- or four-session class. Details to follow.
Get the most out of the services by asking about our special listening devices. Pick up one in the back or see an usher for help. If yours isn’t working properly, don’t be bashful about raising your hand to ask for assistance.

Sunday, April 12th – There will be no Sunday School. We’ll begin celebration at 9:30 am with a Praise & Prayer Service (come with a word of testimony!) followed by our traditional Easter breakfast buffet downstairs, starting about 10:00. Family worship service begins at 10:45 am.
Wednesday, April 8th
Choir practice at the church at 6:00 pm
Upcoming: Dr. T. David Gordon from Grove City College will be our guest May 2nd & 3rd . Make room on your calendar to attend the Saturday session and also worship on Sunday.
