ANNOUNCEMENTS
Sunday, August 30th
OOPS! Our next community hymn sing is scheduled for … TONIGHT! (Somebody forgot to let us know.) It will be held at Camp Pioneer’s Wendt Chapel (Herr and Lake Shore Roads in Angola) at 6:00 pm.
Wednesday, September 2nd
Choir practice at the church at 6:00 pm.
Bible Study & Prayer Meeting at 7:00 pm. Join us as we make our way through the book of James in a study called “BROTHER TO BROTHER”. We’re in the last few paragraphs. It’s a great time to join us.
Sunday, September 13th
Welcome Back Sunday! Assemble upstairs at 9:30 am to being a new Sunday School year together. Children dismiss to their classes. Adults remain for our Fall Concert of Prayer. Family worship at 10:45 am, including the Lord’s Supper.
Sunday, September 20th
Adult Sunday School begins, as we resume the study, “BETWEEN TWO WORLDS: A Manifesto of Pilgrim Politics”. Also, join us at the Doles’ pond for our next Sunday Night Out.
Sunday School may be in recess, but don’t let that keep you from asking tough questions! During the summer months, if there are questions or comments related to the morning message, let’s linger for a minute or so (whoever wants to ) and discuss them. After people have gone through the line, we can find a quiet place for a brief, impromptu Q&A session. This is experimental, strictly voluntary, but it could be lots of fun! In any case, have a restful, refreshing summer! ~ Derek
Get the most out of the services by asking about our special listening devices. Pick up one in the back or see an usher for help. If yours isn’t working properly, don’t be bashful about raising your hand to ask for assistance.

Pam donated the flowers at the front of the sanctuary in memory or her father, Francis Johengen, whose funeral service was held at Wentland’s on Thursday morning.
Sunday School may be in Summer recess, but don’t let that keep you from asking tough questions! During the Summer months, if there are questions or comments related to the morning message, let’s linger for a minute or so (whoever wants to) and discuss them. After people have gone through the line, we can find a quiet place for a brief, impromptu Q&A session. This is experimental, strictly voluntary, but it could be lots of fun! In any case, have a restful, refreshing Summer! – Derek
Get the most out of the services by asking about our special listening devices. Pick up one in the back or see an usher for help. If yours isn’t working properly, don’t be bashful about raising your hand to ask for assistance.
