Community Hymn Sing (“Little Christmas”) at the First Church of Evans beginning at 6:30 pm. Plan now to be part of this special time as we sing, enjoy fellowship, and seasonal refreshments with our friends from participating churches.
Be praying with the Nominating Committee as they meet to prepare a slate of candidates to be considered for office at the Annual Meeting in February 2010. To submit names for consideration or to make any other comments pertaining to the nominating process, see Olive, Fred or Derek in the coming weeks. Pray with us during this important time in our church.
In an effort to reduce the cost of heating the church building in winter, the Church Board again recommends meeting for worship in the Adult Sunday School Classroom. We recommend holding our first worship service downstairs in the “Winter Chapel” on December 27th at our regular time of 10:45 am. Please see Fred or Derek with any questions or concerns you may have about this temporary arrangement. Thank you for your understanding in this important matter.
