The Ostmans have been involved in translation and church work as missionaries in the Philippines for many years, and it has been our privilege to have a part in that ministry almost from the beginning. We welcome Lance and Laura back to North Collins! The Ostmans have been involved in translation and church work as missionaries in the Philippines for many years, and it has been our privilege to have a part in that ministry almost from the beginning. Let’s give Lance our full attention as he brings us a message from God’s eternal word.
The church’s financial statement for March 2010 is posted for review in the office over the copy machine.
The Yoders are planning to leave after service today to visit family in New Jersey. Tony Barone, retired chaplain from the Buffalo City Mission, will be our special guest speaker next week.

HAVE A HEART FOR HAITI! The Dewey Missionary Society is dedicating the month of February to charitable giving for Haiti. Each Sunday in February, we will take a second offering for relief work in this devastated country. We would like to designate the first offering (Feb 7th) for Roy and Ruth Shelpman's personal use and the following Sundays' offerings (14th, 21st, and 28th) for their rebuilding efforts.
Last week, Don Gebhardt left his home in North Collins to live with his daughter and son-in-law. You can send letters and cards in care of Manuel and Carol Grantinetti, 299 Bird Avenue, Buffalo 14213.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
HAVE A HEART FOR HAITI: The Dewey Missionary Society is dedicating the month of February to charitable giving for Haiti. Each Sunday in February, we will take a second offering for relief work in this devastated country. The first offering (Feb 7th) was designated for Roy and Ruth Shelpman’s personal use. The following Sunday’s offerings (14th, 21st, and 28th) are for their rebuilding efforts.

Ladies Bible Study at Evie Mann’s home in Eden. If you’re looking for more study, encouragement, and prayer in your life, you may want to consider joining this study of the gospel of Mark. They meet at 7:30 pm.
Wednesday, February 24th
Choir practice at the church at 6:00 pm.

Sunday, February 28th
Our “Coffee with Calvin” reading group meets after service for the first of two discussions about David Wells’ “Courage to be Protestant”. Lunch will be provided. Be prepared to discuss Sections 1-5 (through page 174).
