ANNOUNCEMENTS
Excerpted from a recent note by Irene Johnson: “I
check the Internet for the Sunday Bulletin, which keeps me a little in
touch. I am 90 but try to accept my
limitations and continue to do what I can with gratitude. My family (siblings) and daughters are very
good and, of course, Marie and I work together.
I am spending some time playing the new songs in the new hymnal. The music is a little different from the
gospel songs and a little more challenging.
Please give my greetings and blessing the church family.”
Check out “Ask the Pastor” on Wednesday, October 24th
at 2:00 pm (TCT Network and Dish Network channel 26, DirecTV does not carry the
program), as Derek tries to make good use of this special opportunity. “Ask the
Pastor” is a live call-in program with a panel of five area pastors answering
viewer questions about life and the Bible from the Bible.
The Church’s
financial statement for September 2012 is posted for review in the office over
copy machine.
