3DYouth Group heads out to Harrisburg for the 2013 Missions Trip on Sunday, August 4th.  The vans will be leaving from here at 12:00 noon.  Be praying for our team as it seeks to serve, learn, and grow in Christian discipleship.  They will be returning on Friday, August 9th.

Check out “Ask the Pastor” on Friday, July 26th at 2:00 pm (TCT Network and Dish Network Channel 26, DirecTV does not carry the program), as Derek tries to make good use of this special opportunity.  “Ask the Pastor” is a live call-in program with a panel of five area pastors answering viewer questions about life and the Bible from the Bible.

As we move into a season of family travel and light attendance, be praying for the church’s continued financial stability during these challenging months.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

We are pleased to welcome Lance and Laura Ostman back to North Collins!  The Ostmans have served for many years as missionaries in the Philippines among the Higaunan people.  Let’s give Lance our full attention as he opens God’s Word for us this morning

Next week, we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper.  If you would like to participate but are unable to be here, see Derek or one of the Elders to arrange another time.  Don’t be shy about taking full advantage of this important gesture of unity
 with Christ and his body.  A fellowship meal following the service
is NOT planned for next week.
