3DYouth Group meets here at 6:00 pm TONIGHT for life lessons from Mark followed by games and refreshments.

The North Collins High School will be using our building for extra testing space one more time.  The last group meets here on Monday.  Thank you for your understanding as we try to be good neighbors (and good lights) to our friends across the street.

Next Sunday we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper.  If you would like to participate but are unable to be here, see Derek or one of the Elders to arrange another time.  Don’t be shy about taking full advantage of this important gesture of unity with Christ and his body.  A fellowship meal following the service IS planned!

David Gordon, this year’s guest lecturer, will be with us to speak (tentatively) about the idea of “temple” in redemptive history, in eschatology, and in Christian worship.  It’s sure to be an enjoyable, challenging weekend of learning and application.

During the spring exam season, the North Collins High School will be using out building for extra testing space from time to time.  Another group meets next week (Wednesday-Friday).  Thank you for your understanding as we try to be good neighbors (and good lights) to our friends across the street.

Thank you to all who gave so generously for Bruce & Shirley Brown’s birthday gift.  $330 has been collected so far.  Don’t forget to sign the card for them in the back.

Check out “Ask the Pastor” on Friday, April 24th at 2:00 pm (TCT Network and Dish Network channel 26, DirecTV does not carry the program).  “Ask the Pastor” is a live call-in program with a panel of five area pastors answering viewer questions about life and the Bible from the Bible.  It’s Derek’s turn to sit on the panel.  Pray for him as he tries to think fast and make the most of this unique opportunity.

The church’s financial statement for March 2015 is posted for review in the office over the copy machine.

Sympathies go out to the Evelyn Holcomb family.  Evie died on April 11th
 and her funeral was held on Tuesday at Wentland’s.
