Announcements
Onward in October! Let’s
move onward in our Sunday School time in October! We want to start the year
with good study habits and good outreach to friends who might be interested in
coming to Sunday School! Our goals are for students to: Bring your Bible, Learn
your verses, Bring an offering, and Bring a friend. Sunday School starts at
9:30 am every week with classes for everyone from Pre-K through Adults.
Don’t forget to silence all devices.

Monday, October 8th:
AA meets downstairs from 8:00 – 9:15 pm.
Tuesday, October 9th: Full Board meets at 7:00
pm at the church, preceded by Elders’ Meeting
at 6:00.
Wednesday,
October 10th: Midweek Bible Study
and Prayer Meeting at 7:00 pm. Join us as we resume our study in Luke. We’re in
Chapter 6 and are considering Jesus’ so-called Sermon on the Plain. It’s a
great time to join us!
Friday, October 19th:
Check out the Hamburg Public Library at 7:00 pm, where the Hamburg Classical
Guitar Quartet will be giving a free concert. This is Howie Evert’s group, and
they’ll be joining us again for our Advent Concert on Friday, December 14th.
Saturday, October 20th:
9:00 am Sunday School meeting to “Stamp and Stuff” treat bags for Light Up the
Night.
Sunday, October 21st:
3DYouth meets at the First Church of Evans at 6:00 pm for life lessons from
John followed by games and refreshments.
Wednesday, October 31st:
Light up the Night at 6:00 pm on the front yard corner.
Sunday, November 4th:
It’s Singspiration time again--and it’s our turn to host! All the usual details
to follow.
