3D Youth meets TONIGHT at the First Church of Evans. Gather at 6:00 pm for life lessons from John 6 followed by games and refreshments.

HOLY WEEK 2019
·       Sun. April 14th  -- Palm Sunday
·       Thurs. April 18th – Maundy Thursday
Our traditional upper room-style vigil by candlelight begins at 6:30 pm.
·       Fri. April 19th – Good Friday
It’s our turn to host this year’s joint-service. Our friends from the Wesleyan Church will join us at 6:30 pm.
·       Sun. April 21st – Easter Sunday
There will be no Sunday School. Gather upstairs at 9:30 am for a brief time of prayer and praise. Come with a testimony! A light breakfast buffet will be served downstairs immediatley following. Family worship begins at 10:45 am.

Monday, April 8th: AA meets downstairs from 8:00-9:15 pm.
Tuesday, April 9th: Full Board meets at 7:00 pm, preceded by Elders’ Meeting at 6:00. Elders, come prepared to discuss Pages 3-5 (“John Calvin to the Reader”) and 35-43 (Chaps 1-2 in “The Knowledge of God the Creator”) in the Institutes.
Wednesday, April 10th: Midweek Bible Study and Prayer Meeting at 7:00 pm. We’re continuing our study in Luke 7, looking at Jesus’ tribute to John the Baptist. Then it’s on to Jesus’ rebuke of the Pharisees around the meal table. It’s a great time to join us.
Thursday, April 11th: Choir meets downstairs at 9:15 am.
Sunday, April 28th: 3DYouth Group meets at the First Church of Evans. Gather at 6:00 pm

Announcements

The church’s financial statements for January and February 2019 are postsed for review in the office over the NEW copy machine. Check it out!

Harriett Rupp will be spending the remainder of this week with Phil and Amy in Cherry Creek. She would appreciate any calls or brief afternoon visits, but check with Amy first at 716-296-5030.

Holy Week (April 14th-21st) will be here before you know it! Be praying for the special services and lessons that are part of the Easter season.
