Today is
the last day to sign up at the back table to join the crew on the Moondance on
Sunday, June 23rd! We need to
report to the Erie Basin Marina at 5:00 pm.
Don’t
forget! Next Sunday marks the beginning of our summer schedule. That means
family worship begins at 9:30 am, and Sunday School is suspended until
September. Consider ways you can use this “extra” time to devote to spiritual
growth.

Wednesday, June 19th: Midweek Bible Study and Prayer Meeting at
the church at 7:00 pm. We are continuing our study of Luke 8 with a look at
Jesus’ stilling of the sea. What does it say about his identity as the Messiah?

Congratulatoins to Alcoholics Anonymous on the 2nd
anniversary of weekly meetings in North Collins! It’s been our church’s
pleasure to host this growing group downstairs these many months, and we hope
for many more to come. Keep up the good work!
Next Sunday we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper. If you would like to
participate but are unable to be here, see Derek or one of the Elders to
arrange another time. Don’t be shy about taking full advantage of this
improtant gesture of unity with Christ and his body. A fellowship meal
following the service in NOT planned at this time. Alice and Olive are on
setup.
Dewey Missionary Society is providing an opportunity for joyful service!
The Kennedys’ newly adopted Chinese son David has required some extensive
dental work. This is the last week
that we will be collecting a special offering to help with some of these
unexpected expenses. Please designate
your offering “Kennedy Medical Fund”.
