ANNOUNCEMENTS
Tuesday, July 28th

Elders’ meeting at 6:30 pm. Come prepared to discuss Chapter 11 in the Elders Handbook (“By Divine Appointment”).

Wednesday, July 29th
Choir practice at the church at 6:00 pm.

Wednesday Evening Bible Study and Prayer Meeting meets at 7:00 pm. Join us as we make our way through the book of James in a study called “BROTHER TO BROTHER”. We’re moving into Chapter 5. It’s a great time to join us.

Sunday, August 2nd
Next Sunday, we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper. If you would like to participate but are unable to be here, see Derek or one of the Elders to arrange another time. Don’t be shy about taking full advantage of this important gesture of unity with Christ and his body.

After next week’s service, the Yoders will be heading for Michigan for two weeks of vacation. Please direct any questions or concerns to Matt Clapper (337-3298). Note the following preaching schedule:
August 9 – Tony Barone, Buffalo City Mission
August 16 – Bill & Darlene Miller, longtime friends of our fellowship and currently missionary candidates to Ecuador
August 23 – Larry Van Etten, Seneca Gospel Mission

Sunday School may be in Summer recess, but don’t let that keep you from asking tough questions! During the Summer months, if there are questions or comments related to the morning message, let’s linger for a minute or so (whoever wants to) and discuss them. After people have gone through the line, we can find a quiet place for a brief, impromptu Q&A session. This is experimental, strictly voluntary, but it could be lots of fun! In any case, have a restful, refreshing Summer! – Derek

Thank you to my church family for your prayers and support these last few years as I cared for my dad. It means a lot. – Pam Johengen

Sunday, August 30th
Plan now to join us at the Hills’ pond for our annual outdoor worship service and picnic.
