We are happy to welcome John Brown back to North Collins!  John has been involved with Promise Valley, the ministry formerly known as Seneca Gospel Mission, in various ways for the last 15 years and currently serves as executive director.  John was recently ordained to the gospel ministry.  Let’s give him our full attention as he brings a message from God’s word.

Sympathies go out to Garry and Kathy and the rest of the family of Marty Dole, who died Wednesday evening.  Visitation hours are scheduled for today (Sunday) from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Wentland’s.  Marty’s funeral will be held here at on Monday at 11:00 am.  There will be a luncheon to follow.

Be praying for this week’s neighborhood outreach – our first Backyard Bible Club!  Helen Filsinger will direct the evening lessons.  There will also be refreshments and activities for the children.  Pray that God would open the way into hearts and families and neighborhoods with the gospel.

The Yoders will be traveling to Michigan after service next week for two weeks of vacation with Derek’s parents.  We will have guest speakers on August 9th and 16th.  Be praying for the Yoders during this time of travel, relaxation, and family time.
