Announcements
We hope you can join us at the parsonage for our Christmas Tea between 2 and 5 pm this afternoon. It’s a time for our family to express the love and appreciation we feel to all of you who mean so much to us. Feel free to stop by for favorite holiday foods with good friends. We look forward to sharing this special time with you.

In an effort to reduce the cost of heating the church building, the Church Board again recommends meeting for worship in the Adult Sunday School Classroom during the coldest winter months. We are tentatively planning to hold our first worship service downstairs in the “Winter Chapel” on Dec. 30th at our regular time of 10:45 am. Thank you for your understanding in this important matter.
--The Church Board
The church’s financial statements for October and November 2018 are posted for review in the office above the copier.
Sympathies go out to the familly of Lucille Minekime, who died on Tuesday in Syracuse. Her funeral will be held here after the holidays. Details to follow.
Be praying with the Nominating Committee as it works to prepare a slate of candidates to be considered for office at the Annual Meeting in February 2019. To submit names, see Olive, Fred, or Derek.
Our Christmas Project this year is the Eden/North Collins Food Pantry. Make a donation in the basket in the back and hang an ornament on the tree!

Announcements
This morning marks the beginning of Advent 2018! Our morning worship services will commemorate the season with candles, readings, and special messages. This year’s themes will be taken from the Apostles’ Creed. We’ll see how the Creed’s statements about Jesus (God’s only Son, conceived by the Spirit, born of a virgin, suffered under Pontius Pilate) are brought to colorful life in the familiar Nativity stories. Pray that this will be an encouraging, challenging time in our congregation as we reflect on Jesus’ work at Christmas.
Be praying for the Nominating Committee as it works to prepare a slate of condidates to be considered for office at the Annual Meeting in February 2019. To submit names see Olive, Fred, or Derek.
