Announcements
This
morning marks the beginning of Advent 2018! Our morning worship services will
commemorate the season with candles, readings, and special messages. This
year’s themes will be taken from the Apostles’ Creed. We’ll see how the Creed’s
statements about Jesus (God’s only Son, conceived by the Spirit, born of a
virgin, suffered under Pontius Pilate) are brought to colorful life in the
familiar Nativity stories. Pray that this will be an encouraging, challenging
time in our congregation as we reflect on Jesus’ work at Christmas.
Be
praying for the Nominating Committee as it works to prepare a slate of
condidates to be considered for office at the Annual Meeting in February 2019.
To submit names see Olive, Fred, or Derek.
Don’t forget to silence your devices.
