Announcements
We are happy to welcome John Brown back to North Collins! John has been involved with Promise Valley, the ministry formerly known as Seneca Gospel Mission, in various ways for the last 16 years. He currently serves as executive director. Let’s give him our full attention as he brings a message from God’s word.
Special thanks to Don and Olive Hill for hosting this year’s picnic! Your hospitalitly and generosity made the afternoon special for all of us. We appreciate all you do!
--the Elders, on behalf of all of us at FCC

Join us for choir practice one Saturday a month, usually from 9-10:00 am. If you would like to join the choir see Alice or Kathy for practice dates. We would love to have you come sing with us!
Missions giving is down this quarter.  Please consider an extra gift these summer months in support of our missionaries around the world. Remember to designate your gift “missions.”

Calendar
Monday, July 30th: AA meets downstairs from 8:00 – 9:15 pm.
Wednesday, August 1st:  Midweek Bible Study and Prayer Meeting wiill be on summer vacation while Derek is away. But plan to join us on August 15th at 7:00 pm as we resume our study in Luke. We’re in Chapter 4 and are following Jesus’ early ministry in Capernaum, where he continues to teach and perform miracles, then it’s on to other locations farther afield. It’s a great time to join us!
The Yoders are just back from  New Hampshire for the wedding of Alice’s nephew.  Derek officiated. They’re off again tomorrow (July  30th) for two weeks of family vacation in Michigan! Derek will be back in the study on Tuesday, August 14th. Take note of the preaching schedule for the next few weeks:
Sunday, August 5th: Scott Matheny (ISI)
Sunday, August 12: John Brown

Get the most out of the service by asking about our special listening devices.  Pick up one in the back or see an usher for help.  If yours isn’t working properly, don’t be bashful about raising your hand to ask for assistance.
