Tonight! August 24th

Have you invited your neighbor yet? Sunday Night Out, just like last month, but this time we will meet at the Clapper’s home on Halley Road at 6:00 pm at their fire pit. Bring a chair, enjoy the outdoors next to the fire with refreshments, and fellowship together this Lord’s Day. Invite a friend or neighbor who needs to hear & witness the goodness of God.

Wednesday, August 27th
Choir practice at church begins at 6:00 pm.

Bible Study and Prayer meets at church this week at 7:00 pm. We are in Chapter 6 “Daniel and the Lion’s Den”. It is a very interesting study … stop by and see!

Thursday, August 28th
Elders’ meeting at the church at 6:30 pm. Come prepared to discuss Chapter 7 in the Elders Handbook.

Next Sunday, August 31st
Outdoor Worship at 9:45 am followed by a picnic at the Hills’ pond, 2433 Langford Road. Bring your favorite dish to pass.

Sunday, September 7th
Welcome Back Sunday. Assemble upstairs at 9:30 am to begin the new Sunday School year. Children dismiss to their classes. Adults remain for our Fall Concert of Prayer. Family worship at 10:45 am, including the Lord’s Supper.

Sunday, September 14th
Helen and Giba Filsinger (our missionary friends from Brazil) will be with us, including Sunday School. Adult Sunday School will formally begin September 21st.

Sympathies go out to the family of Leonard Pabst, who died July 7th in Dublin, Ohio. A brief service is planned for Monday, September 29th at 10:00 am at the North Collins Cemetery.
