We hope you can join us at the parsonage for our Christmas
Tea between 2 and 5 pm this afternoon.
It’s a time for our family to express the love and appreciation we feel
to all of you who mean so much to us.
Feel free to stop by for favorite holiday foods with good friends. We look forward to sharing this special time
with you.

Our Christmas Project this year is raising funds for the
North Collins Food Pantry. For each $5 you donate, please put an ornament
on the small tree in the back of the church. Please designate your gift for
"Eden-N.Collins Food Pantry" and place it in the offering plate.
Let's share Christ's love in a tangible way with those in need.
This morning marks the
beginning of Advent 2017! Our morning
worship services will commemorate the season with candles, readings, and
special messages. This year’s theme is “The
Spirit of Christmas”. We’ll examine the role of the Holy Spirit in
the familiar Nativity stories – preparing the way (John the Baptist), working a
new creation (Mary), bearing testimony (Simeon), and granting the favor of
sonship (Bethlehem). Pray that this will
be an encouraging, challenging time in our congregation as we reflect on the
Spirit’s work at Christmas – and in our hearts and lives.
Calendar
Monday,
December 11th: AA meets downstairs from 8:00 – 9:15
pm.

Being Seated in Heaven Changes Everything”).
▪ Immediately following the regularly
scheduled meetings, the Nominating Committee will begin to prepare a slate of
candidates to be considered for office at the Annual Meeting in February 2018. To submit names, see Olive, Fred or Derek.
Wednesday,
December 13th: Bible study &
prayer meeting at 7:00 pm. We’re studying
