Announcements

This morning, we welcome Rasheed Akhtar back to North Collins.  Mr. Akhtar is currently serving as ISI’s South Asia Campus Minister.  His testimony and ministry among international students bears powerful witness to God’s work in his life.  Let’s give him our full attention as he brings a message from God’s word.

Next week we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper.  If you would like to participate but are unable to be here, see Derek or one of the Elders to arrange another time.  Don’t be shy about taking full advantage of this important gesture of unity with Christ and his body.  A fellowship meal following the serivce is NOT planned at this time.

Note the enclosed invitations for the Bicentennial Weekend.  Keep one on the fridge to remember the service times and activities.  Or send it to a friend you think ma enjoy being a part of this special time together.  There are extra invitations on the back table.

Join us for Bible study and prayer at the church at 7:00 pm as we continue our survey of the great themes of Genesis.  We’re moving into Chapter 46 and Jacob’s migration to Egypt.  It’s a great time to join us!

The church’s financial statement for April 2017 is posted for review in the office over the copy machine.

Thanks to all who worked so hard to coordinate Eagle Energy Day and make it a success!  The high school students in the building and on the grounds got some good work done, but for us it was also an opportunity to be a Christian witness in our community.  Thank you!
