Join us downstairs for a fun, though provoking evening together as we watch the family film “Amazing Grace”, the story of John Newton and William Wilberforce and their efforts to abolish the slave trade in England. Ladies’ Bible Study at Evie Mann’s home in Eden. They are continuing on in their study on the fruits of the Spirit. Ladies, if you’re looking for more study, encouragement, and prayer in your life, consider joining this group. The study begins at 8:00 p.m.

Wednesday, June 3rd
Choir practice at the church at 6:00 pm.

Wednesday Evening Bible Study and Prayer Meeting meets at 7:00 pm. Join us as we make our way through the book of James in a study called “BROTHER TO BROTHER”. We are moving into Chapter 4. It’s a great time to join us.

Sunday, June 7th
Next Sunday we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper. If you would like to participate but are unable to be here, see Derek or one of the Elders to arrange another time. Don’t be shy about taking full advantage of this important gesture of unity with Christ and his body.

Attention: June 28th marks the first Sunday of our summer schedule, when family worship begins at 9:30 am. The last Sunday of adult Sunday School is June 14th. On June 21st, the adults will meet for our spring Concert of Prayer. The day of Sunday School for children is June 21st. Have a restful, refreshing summer!


The Tri-County Crisis Pregnancy Center is sponsoring its annual “Walk for Life” on Sunday, July 26th, in Gowanda. If you would like to help support this important ministry, see Derek for more details.

Each year, CCCC Conference Minister Steve Gammon invites member churches to set aside one Sunday in May to highlight the ministries, developments & special needs of our Conference. We have designated this morning as Conference Sunday. We will distribute special information and prayer requests and collect a second offering to help support the ongoing ministries of the CCCC. (Note the bulletin insert).

If you haven’t made summer vacation plans yet, you may want to consider Waterloo, Iowa! Seriously, Waterloo will host the 61st Annual CCCC Family Conference July 20-23. This year’s theme is “Cooperating for Christ”. Check out the back table for more information on seminars, accommodations, and registration. See you in Waterloo!

Now that our insurance claim has been submitted and our building has been repaired and cleaned, we would like to thank all involved for their help in extracting water due to the broken pipe, for moving the library furniture and books, for cleaning and painting, and for everyone’s time and efforts. A special thank you to Serve Pro of the Southtowns for their quick response and for their monetary donation to our church. – The Church Board

Take a moment to enjoy the new Thomas Kinkade painting (“The Good Shepherd’s Cottage”) in the back of the sanctuary. It was donated this last week by David and Sue (Steele) Moore in memory of Susie’s parents, Burt and Trudy Steele.
