3DYouth Group meets here at 6:00 pm. Life lessons from Timothy followed by Bible Wheel of Fortune and snacks.

Wednesday, February 1st
Bible Study and prayer at the church at 7:00 pm. We’re thinking about the New Covenant in Chapter 8 of our Hebrews study (“The Supremacy of Christ”). Also be meditating on the next hymn in our discussion series (“We’re Marching to Zion”). Extra copies are on the back table along with T. David Gordon’s “Hymns: Criteria for Making Good Ones.”

Sunday, February 5th
Next Sunday we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper. If you would like to participate but are unable to be here, see Derek or one of the Elders to arrange another time. Don’t be shy about taking full advantage of this important gesture of unity with Christ and his body. We will share a fellowship potluck together following the service. Bring a dish to pass!

Impromptu Ladies Night Out! “Death by Chocolate” is a WNY Ladies Night Out sponsored by THRIVE Women’s Ministry at The Chapel at CrossPoint, Getzville. FREE event. Doors open at 6:30 pm. A love offering will be taken. (One of the women in the show is a co-worker of Lori Clapper’s – from San Diego). See Lori for more details.

The church’s financial statement for November 2011 is posted for review in the office over the copy machine.

Check our “Ask the Pastor” on Wednesday, January 18th at 2:00 pm (TCT Network and Dish Network channel 26, DirecTV does not carry the program), as Derek tries to make good use of this special opportunity.  “Ask the Pastor” is a live call-in program with a panel of five area Senior Pastors answering viewer questions about life and the Bible from the Bible.
