Impromptu Ladies Night Out! “Death by Chocolate” is a WNY Ladies Night Out sponsored by THRIVE Women’s Ministry at The Chapel at CrossPoint, Getzville. FREE event. Doors open at 6:30 pm. A love offering will be taken. (One of the women in the show is a co-worker of Lori Clapper’s – from San Diego). See Lori for more details.
Wednesday, January 25th
Bible Study and prayer at the church at 7:00 pm. We’re thinking about the New Covenant in Chapter 8 of our Hebrews study (“The Supremacy of Christ”). Also be meditating on the next hymn in our discussion series (“We’re Marching to Zion”). Extra copies are on the back table along with T. David Gordon’s “Hymns: Criteria for Making Good Ones.”
Thursday, January 26th
Elders’ meeting at the church at 6:30 pm. Come prepared to discuss the Preface and Chapter 1 of John Piper’s “Brothers, We Are Not Professionals”. (Derek will make copies if books are delayed).

The Trustee Board thanks everyone who jumped into action last Sunday morning to help with the clean-up and repair of the burst kitchen pipe. Special thanks to Barry Francis for his quick response with the shop vac and Dan Haney for his expertise in plumbing. It is truly appreciated.
