unable to be here, see Derek or one of the Elders to arrange another time. Don’t be shy about taking full advantage of
this important gesture of unity with Christ and his body. A fellowship meal following the service IS BEING PLANNED for next week.

their ministries, their message, and
their madness! We’re surveying the
book of Amos. It’s a great time to join us!
Saturday, October 5th
Join
our WNY/Northwestern PA churches at Stockton for this year’s annual CCCC
Regional Fall Banquet. The program will
focus on Billy Graham’s “My Hope for America”.
There will be a separate meal and program for the children (ages
4-12). It is not potluck, but we are
asking area churches to help provide food for the banquet. (FCC has been asked to provide vegetable dip;
Derek will make the arrangements.) There
is no charge for the meals. The evening
begins at 6:00 pm. Reservation deadline
is TODAY, Sunday the 29th.

Evans for life lessons from Ruth followed by Ultimate Frisbee and refreshments.

The North Collins Junior-Senior High School will be participating
in the 1st Annual “Eagle Energy Day”, a community-service project in
which faculty, staff, and students work together to make a difference in our
community. The school supplies free
labor, but interested community residents provide the “jobs” and materials
(e.g. paint, shovel, lawn mower, hammer and nails, etc.). See applications in the foyer for details.
The church’s financial statement for August 2013 is
posted for review
in the office over the copy machine.
A reminder from the Deaconesses: If you put someone on the prayer list
and would like
an appropriate card to go out from the church
(sympathy, congratulations, etc. ), please give Laura
Temple the address.

Join us tonight at the
Doles’ after the Bills game around 4:30 – 5:00 for a “Sunday Night Out” pizza
party. We will celebrate our first year
or memorizing scripture as a whole church family! Pizza will be provided by the Sunday School
teachers, so feel free to bring a salad or dessert, or just come and enjoy!
