ANNOUNCEMENTS

The North Collins Junior-Senior High School will be participating in the 1st Annual “Eagle Energy Day”, a community-service project in which faculty, staff, and students work together to make a difference in our community.  The school supplies free labor, but interested community residents provide the “jobs” and materials (e.g. paint, shovel, lawn mower, hammer and nails, etc.).  See applications in the foyer for details.

Join us tonight at the Doles’ after the Bills game around 4:30 – 5:00 for a “Sunday Night Out” pizza party.  We will celebrate our first year or memorizing scripture as a whole church family!  Pizza will be provided by the Sunday School teachers, so feel free to bring a salad or dessert, or just come and enjoy!

CALENDAR

Tuesday, September 10th
Elders’ Meeting at 6:00 pm.  Be prepared to discuss Chapter 24 in Piper (“Minister in Calamity”).

Full Church Board meeting at 7:00 pm.

Wednesday, September 11th
Choir practice at the church at 6:00 pm.

Join us at the church for Bible study and prayer at 7:00 pm.  We’re studying the Old Testament prophets – their ministries, their message, and their madness!  We’re surveying the book of Amos.   It’s a great time to join us!

Thursday, September 12th
Our next Sit’nSew day!  Meet at church at 10:00 am.

Thursday, September 19th
Dewey Missionary meeting here at church.

Saturday, October 12th
Join our WNY/Northwestern PA churches at Stockton for this year’s annual CCCC Regional Fall Banquet.  The program will focus on Billy Graham’s “My Hope for America”.  There will be a separate meal and program for the children (ages 4-12).  This year we are asking our area churches to help provide food for the banquet.  There will be no charge for the meals.  The evening begins at 6:00 pm.  See the sign-up sheet in the foyer for details.

Get the most out of the service by asking about our special listening devices.  Pick up one in the back or see an usher for help.  If yours isn’t working properly, don’t be bashful about raising your hand to ask for assistance.
