– The Church Board

I would like to thank my church family for the lovely Christmas plant, candy and card plus a nice surprise visit with Alice Yoder and Shirley Reed. It was all appreciated very much.

I’ve been told my recovery from my fall will be long but I’m still most grateful to the home.

May the New Year bring special blessings to all.

Thanks again,
Evelyn Falk

Dear Church Family,
How appreciative Ellsworth and I are for all the prayers that are being sent heavenward, and all the wonderful cards & notes that are such a blessing that have come to me in the hospital and to both of us here at home. We sense the Lord’s inexhaustible supply of grace & help every day.
How thankful we are that Ellsworth feels no pain, only weakness. The Lord is so good to allow us another Christmas together, so it will be a precious Christmas indeed.
Affectionately, Harriett

Herb & Allie Palmer’s niece (who is their Power of Attorney) has recently moved to North Carolina and she’s asking for our help. In her absence, she is hoping to arrange a visitation schedule. She would like to enlist the help of someone from our congregation to visit the Palmers in Orchard Park once a month. She will send a monthly fee to keep their refrigerator stocked with favorite snacks and to help reimburse for traveling expenses, like gas. This is a great opportunity to serve Herb and Allie during a difficult time in their lives. You may want to try it for a year or even just six months and then let someone else have a turn. If you would like to be part of this important ministry of covenant love, see Derek.

Let’s do our part to support the ongoing ministries of our local church, including missions, by giving generously of our time, prayer, energy and finances. Let’s pray together that God would supply the faith and finances we need to further the work of the kingdom in this area & beyond.
