It’s a special treat to have with us this morning . We are pleased to welcome them back to the United States from Brazil, where they serve as missionaries involved in church planting and outreach. Also, don’t forget the “barbecue reception” at the Doles’ pond following the service. The will be leaving our area this afternoon, but let’s spend a few hours getting reacquainted with this precious missionary family who represents us around the world.

Tuesday, August 21st
Choir practice 6:30 pm at the church.

Tuesday Evening Ladies Bible Study is on summer recess. Join us in the fall as we come back together for this important time of encouragement, study and prayer.

Wednesday, August 22nd
Wednesday Bible Study & Prayer Meeting will meet at 7:00 pm at church. We’re spending a few weeks in the Psalms, hoping to reinforce and put into practice some of the principles T. David Gordon shared with us.

Sunday, August 26th
Our annual outdoor Worship Service & Church Picnic at Don & Olive Hill’s home on Langford Road. Service begins at 9:45 am followed by a picnic lunch and great fellowship together.

Looking Ahead
September 2nd – Communion Sunday
September 9th – Welcome Back Sunday! We’ll gather in the sanctuary at 9:30 am for our opening announcements and prayer of dedication, after which the children will be dismissed for Sunday School. Adults will remain for our Fall Concert of Prayer. Family worship begins at 10:45 am.
