Thank you
for your prayers during our time away in Maine.
It was in many respects a great family vacation. It was good to relax and reconnect with
family, Granddad in particular, but it’s great to be back home. – Alice and Derek, for the family

AA meets downstairs from 8:00-9:15 pm.
Wednesday,
August 23rd
Choir practice at 6:00 pm
Bible study and prayer meets at the
church at 7:00 pm as we continue our study of the great themes of Genesis. We’re in Chapter 49 and are looking at
Jacob’s patriarchal-prophetic blessings to his sons before his death. It’s a great time to join us.
Sunday, August 27th
Our summer
Sunday Night Out series continues next week as we get together for a relaxing
time of fellowship and a meal by the Doles’ pond. Meet around 4:00 pm. Hot dogs (or something) will be provided. Invite a friend or neighbor along with a dish
to pass.
