Get
the most out of the service by asking about our special listening devises.
Pick
up one in the back or see an usher for help.
If yours isn’t working property, don’t be bashful about raising your
hand to ask for assistance.
Announcements
If
you would like to be on the 2014 rotation of Sunday morning scripture readers,
see Derek.
Be praying with the
Nominating Committee as it works to prepare a slate of candidates to be
considered for office at the Annual Meeting in February 2014. To submit names for consideration or to make
any other comments regarding the nominating process, see Olive, Fred, or Derek
in the coming weeks. Pray with us during
this important time in our church.
Next Sunday marks the beginning of Advent 2013. Our morning worship services will commemorate
the season with candles, readings, banners, and special messages. This year’s theme is “The Gospel Preached Beforetimes”. Over the next
month, we’ll consider how the OT stories of Joshua, Moses, David, and Abraham
can prepare God’s people for Christmas.
If you would like to order copies of the children’s
illustrated
Pilgrim’s Progress, please let Kathy Dole know ASAP.
See back table for a sample book and more information.
Our Sunday School sponsors a child in Kenya through World Vision,
and her name is Ndulu Mulinge. We would
like to send a special Christmas gift to her.
We would be happy to accept donations from the congregation. Simply label your donation as “Gift to World
Vision Child”. Thank you for your help
providing for children around the world.
