This morning, we welcome Rasheed Akhtar back to North Collins.  Mr. Akhtar is currently serving as ISI’s South Asia Campus Minister.  His testimony and ministry among international students bears powerful witness to God’s work in his life. Let’s give him our full attention as he brings a message from God’s word.

Announcements

The Church Board has approved the installation of a commemorative window to mark our church’s bicentennial in June 2017.  The projected cost is $5,000.  If you are interested in being part of this project, make your contribution out to The First Congregational Church and designate them “Bicentennial Window”.

The Yoders return to North Collins tomorrow after their family vacation in Michigan.  Keep praying for the Yoders as Katie packs up and moves back to Geneva College in Pennsylvania the end of this week and Rebekah heads off to Calvin College in Michigan later this month.

This morning, we welcome Tom Dalbo back to North Collins.  Longtime friend of Bruce Brown and accomplished artist, Pastor Dalbo is also the retired pastor of Winchester Community Church in West Seneca, where he served or over 30 years!  Let’s give him our full attention as he brings a message from God’s word.

The Yoders are in Michigan for their last week of summer vacation with Derek’s parents.  Next week’s guest speaker is Rasheed Akhtar from UB’s ISI office.  Be praying for the Yoders during this time of travel, relaxation, and family time.  Derek is scheduled to preach in his home church on Aug. 14^th and will be back in the church study on the 15^th.

We are happy to welcome John Brown back to North Collins!  John has been involved with Promise Valley, the ministry formerly known as Seneca Gospel Mission, in various ways for over 15 years and currently serves as executive director.  John was recently ordained to the gospel ministry – and married!  Let’s give him our full attention as he brings a message from God’s word.

Beat the heat!  Join us at Garry and Kathy’s as we gather this afternoon for the summer’s second “Sunday Night Out”.  Plan to come around 4:00 pm.

This year's Backyard Bible Club will be held from July 11-14, Monday to Thursday, from 10-11 AM in Alice's backyard. Parents and siblings are invited to accompany young children to hear Bible stories about who Jesus said he is. Refreshments will be provided.
