This morning we welcome Dr. T. David Gordon back to North Collins and to our fellowship. Dr. Gordon currently serves as Professor of Religion and Greek at Grove City College. He has been our visiting scholar for this year’s Leadership Seminar. Let’s give Dr. Gordon our full attention as he opens God’s Word for us this morning.

Tuesday, May 8th
Dewey Missionary Society will meet at church at 9:15 am to travel to Cornerstone Manor in Buffalo for a tour of their facility. Lunch will be provided. Please sign up in the foyer.

Choir practice at 6:30 pm.

Ladies Bible Study at Evie Mann’s at 7:30 pm. We hope you can join us as we begin a new study, “Women of the New Testament”.

Wednesday, May 9th
Wednesday Bible Study & Prayer Meeting meets at 7:00 pm. We’re moving into the final section of Matthew’s gospel: the crucifixion and resurrection in Chapters 26-28. It’s a great time to join us.

Friday, May 11th
Teen Night! We will meet at church at 6:30 pm.

Saturday, May 12th
Men’s breakfast at 8:00 am. Join us at the parsonage for a time of informal sharing and encouragement. Hope to see you there.

Sunday, May 13th
Next Sunday we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper. If you would like to participate but are unable to be here, see Derek or one of the Elders to arrange another time. Don’t be shy about taking full advantage of this important gesture of unity with Christ and his body. Because next week is Mother’s Day, we are not planning to have a fellowship meal following Communion.

Saturday, May 19th
“Feed My Lambs”, a fellowship and training day (9:00 am to 2:00 pm) for all who love children and work with children, at Clark’s Corners Community Church.

Sunday, May 20th
Conference Sunday. The CCCC encourages local churches to set aside one Sunday in May and designate it “Conference Sunday.” It is a brief time set aside to celebrate our affiliation with the CCCC, remind ourselves of current happenings, and pray for and respond to various needs in our Conference. A 2nd collection will be taken up as an expression of our thanks and support for the CCCC.
