Ladies Bible Study at Evie Mann’s home in Eden at 8:00 pm. They are tackling a new study called “Pleasing God”. If you’re looking for more study, encouragement, and prayer in your life, consider joining this group.

Wednesday, January 28th
Choir practice at the church at 6:00 pm

Wednesday Evening Bible Study and Prayer Meeting at 7:00 pm. We’re continuing on in our new study in the book of James called “Brother to Brother”. Join us as we explore the themes of wisdom and sanctification amid the trials of life.

Sanctity of Human Life Week is January 18 – 25, 2009. Join Tri-County Pregnancy Center in being a voice for life. The center offers women facing unplanned pregnancies life, hope, and peace. By providing free pregnancy testing, confidential counseling, and practical assistance and referrals, the center strives to give women an alternative to abortion. You can help the center by volunteering, donating, and praying for the center and clients. For more information, please call 532-9738.

Be praying for the Nominating Committee as it meets to prepare a slate of candidates to be considered for office at the Annual Meeting in February 2009. To submit names for consideration or to make any other comments pertaining to the nominating process, see Pam Johengen, Fred Botko or Derek Yoder in the coming weeks. Be praying with us during this important time in our church.

Reports to be included in the 2008 Annual Report from the Board and Committees are due. Please submit in Audrey Krebs mailbox by next Sunday.

In an effort to reduce the cost of heating the church building in winter, the Church Board again recommends meeting for worship in the Adult Sunday School Classroom. Thank you for your understanding in this important matter. - The Church Board
