CALENDAR

Monday, July 26th

The Yoders leave for the annual CCCC Family Conference in Springfield, Mass., and then on to Maine for two weeks of vacation. In Derek’s absence, guest speakers will include Rasheed Akhtar (ISI), Tony Barone (Buffalo City Mission), and Bruce Brown. Be praying for the Yoders (who’ll be praying for you) as well as our Conference and our church during this time of summer travel and transition.

Wednesday, July 28th
While Derek is away, Bible Study and Prayer Meeting will continue to meet at the church at 7:00. (If you would like to host a meeting at your home, see Matt or Garry). On August18th, we will resume our study of 1 Corinthians and a challenging look at Paul’s teaching on spiritual gifts (Chapter 14). It’s a great time to join us!

Sunday, August 15th
Our next community hymn sing will be held at Camp Pioneer’s Wendt Chapel (Herr and Lake Shore Roads in Angola) at 6:00 pm. Plan now to be part of this time of singing and fellowship with friends from area churches. Bring a favorite dessert to pass.

Throughout the summer, we have scheduled several events to keep us connected and offer opportunities to invite friends and neighbors to join us:

Sunday, August 22nd – Church picnic at the Hills’
Sunday, September 19th – Sunday Nite Out at the Doles’ pond

Get the most out of the service by asking about our special listening devices. Pick up one in the back or see an usher for help. If yours isn’t working properly, don’t be bashful about raising your hand to ask for assistance.
