You should be very proud of yourselves for hosting such a wonderful community event. The Town of North Collins is lucky to have such a community-minded congregation in their town. The annual CCCC Fall Banquet is scheduled for Sat, Nov. 6th at 6:00 pm. Join area WNY churches as we gather at the Fluvanna Church to welcome Conference Minister and banquet speaker Steve Gammon. See sign-up sheet in the foyer for details.

Check out “Ask the Pastor” on Wed, Oct. 20th, at 2:00 pm. (TCT Network and Dish Network channel 26, DirecTV does not carry the local program), as Derek tries to make good use of this special opportunity. “Ask the Pastor” is a live call-in program with a panel of five area Senior Pastors answering viewer questions about life and the Bible from the Bible.

The church’s financial statement for September 2010 is posted for review in the office over the copy machine.

Dewey Missionary Society meets here at church.

Sunday, November 7th
It’s our turn to host our quarterly Singspiration! Jim Raub will be our special guest accompanist as we welcome friends from participating churches for an evening of worship, singing, and fellowship beginning at 6:30 pm. You may want to bring a dessert to share with a harvest/Thanksgiving theme. Plan now to be part of this very popular service.

Condolences go out to the Dawn Green family. Her mother, Anita Heinrich, died on October 6th. Her memorial service was held at Wentland’s on Friday.
