The church’s financial statement for May 2011 is posted for review in the office over the copy machine.

Summer schedule is right around the corner! (Don’t forget—Be thinking about creative ways you can “cultivate the image of God” in your life over the summer.) Here are some calendar dates to keep in mind:
June 26th – First Sunday of summer schedule. Family worship begins at 9:30 am. Sunday Night Out at the Doles’s pond on Shirley Road.
July 10th - Bring a Friend to Church
July 24th – Church picnic at the Hills’ on Langford Road (Bill Call)
August 28th – Sunday Night Out
September 18th – Sunday Night Out

If you haven’t made summer vacation plans yet, you may want to consider Cleveland, host to the 63rd Annual CCCC Family Conference, July 25-28. This year’s theme is “Christ-Like Community.” Check out the back table for more information on seminars, accommodations, and registration. See you in Cleveland!

Missions Alert! 2nd quarter is coming to a close at the end of the month and our mission expense obligation is about $800 short at this point.

CALENDAR
Wednesday, June 22nd

Choir practice at the church at 6:00 pm.

Join us for Bible study and prayer at 7:00 p.m. We’re in Chapter 5 of our study in Hebrews called “The Supremacy of Christ.” Join us next week as we try to apply T. David’s criteria for evaluating Christian hymns to the classic “Jesus Shall Reign”.

Get the most out of the service by asking about our special listening devices. Pick up one in the back or see an usher for help. If yours isn’t working properly, don’t be bashful about raising your hand to ask for assistance.
