ANNOUNCEMENTS

We are pleased to welcome T. David Gordon back to North Collins and to our fellowship.  Dr. Gordon currently serves as Professor of Religion and Greek

 at Grove City College and has been our teaching guest for this year’s

 10^th Leadership Forum.  Let’s give him our full attention as he opens

God’s Word for us this morning.

As we approach the end of the academic year and the warmer months beyond, let’s be praying for a safe, refreshing summer together.

Tuesday, June 11^th

Elders meeting at 6:00 pm.  Come prepared to discuss Chapter 19 (“Affliction & Comfort”) and Chapter 20 (“Deep River”) in Piper.

Full Church Board meeting at 7:00 pm.

Wednesday, June 12^th

Choir practice at the church at 6:00 pm.

Join us at the church for Bible study and prayer at 7:00 pm.  We’re well into our survey of the Old Testament prophets – their ministries, their message, and their madness!  We’re finishing up Malachi’s 6^th and final oracle and plan to tackle Amos.  It’s a great time to join us!

Thursday, June 13^th

Sit’n’Sew Day.  Any and all are welcome to help beginning at 10:00 am.  Our next Sit’n’Sew will be Thursday, June 27^th.

Sunday, June 16^th

Adults and teens will meet in together for a Concert of Prayer during the Sunday School hour at 9:30 am.  (Our summer schedule will begin June 23^rd with Sunday School suspended until September and family worship time beginning at 9:30 am).

Dewey Missionary Meeting at 10:00 am.

Saturday, June 22^nd

Ladies Tea hosted by Shirley Reed … details to come!

Sunday, June 23^rd

3DYouth Group meets at the First Church of Evans at 6:00 pm for life lessons from Ruth followed by activities and refreshments.
