Announcements
March-April is a time of heavy expenses. Please pray for our continued financial
stability and consider extra ways you might help during these challenging
months.
If you haven’t made summer vacation plans yet, you may want to consider
Providence, Rhode Island, host to the 66th Annual CCCC Family
Conference (July 21st-24th). This year’s theme is “For Every
Generation”. Check out the back table
for more information on seminars, accommodations, and registration. See you in Providence!
Check out “Ask the Pastor” on Friday, April 18th at 2:00 pm
(TCT Network and Dish Network channel 26, DirecTV does not carry the program),
as Derek tries to make good use of this special opportunity. “Ask the Pastor” is a live call-in program
with a panel of five area pastors answering viewer questions about life and the
Bible from the Bible.
The church’s financial statement for March 2014 is posted for review in
office over the copy machine.
3DYouth Group meets TONIGHT at the First Church of Evans at 6:00 pm for
life lessons from Mark followed by indoor whiffle ball and refreshments.
Put your sewing needles down for a bit … there will be no Sit’n’Sew in
April due to scheduling conflicts!
Stitch away picks up again in May!
Sympathies go out to Erna Webster on the occasion of Phil’s unexpected
death on Saturday, April 5th, following a short illness.
Erna’s address is 45 Whitten Hill
Road, Kennebunkport, ME 04046-5116.
Her phone is (207) 967-2271.
