Announcements

We hope you can join us for a fellowship meal following this morning’s service.

Don’t forget!  Next week marks the beginning of our fall and winter schedule!  Meet in the sanctuary for our 2015-2016 Sunday School Kick-off at 9:30 am.  Children dismiss to classes while adults and teens remain for Concert of Prayer.  Family worship begins at 10:45.  Teen and adult Sunday School begins September 20th.

Trish Littler has been hospitalized, and her condition is deteriorating.  The CCCC/WNY region recommends that local churches take up a love offering for the Littlers as a gesture of support and to help defray medical expenses.  We’ll be receiving contributions marked “LITTLER LOVE GIFT” over the next several weeks.

Calendar
Tuesday, September 8th
Full Board meets at 7:00 pm at the church, preceded by Elders’ Meeting at 6:00.  Elders, come prepared to discuss Chapter 11 in Swetland (“Sexual Deviation: Sexuality and the Church”) and the review questions that follow.

Wednesday, September 9th
Choir practice at 6:00 pm.

Join us for Bible study and prayer at the church at 7:00 pm.  In our survey of the great themes of Genesis, we’re concluding our look at Melchizedek and then on to the “covenant of pieces” in Chapter 15.  Join us for a fascinating look at OT covenant rituals and what they have to do with the cross!

Saturday, September 19th
Sunday School teacher meeting at 900 am.

Get the most out of the service by asking about our special listening devices.

Pick up one in the back or see an usher for help.  If yours isn’t working properly, don’t be bashful about raising your hand to ask for assistance.
