Sunday School 9:30 am        Family Worship Service 10:45 am
Wait in Prayer        Worship in Reverence        Depart to Serve
Be mindful that the few minutes before the service are set aside to help prepare for worship.  Some use this time to pray or meditate on the call to worship or just be quiet before the Lord.  Let’s keep our visiting before the service to a minimum
                                                                                      – or better, let’s wait until after the service.

Announcements

It’s famine time again!  On April 7th-8th our 3DYouth will join other area youth to help combat world hunger.  The 30-hour retreat includes worship, activities, games, service – but no food!  Be praying for our young people as they prepare for this opportunity for service and growth as Christian disciples.  More information is on the back table.  Also, we will be collecting canned goods and non-perishable to distribute to local food pantries.  See the box in the back.

We hope you can join us for a fellowship meal
following this morning’s service.

Calendar

Wednesday, April 5th
Join us for Bible study and prayer meeting at the church at 7:00 pm as we continue our survey of the great themes of Genesis.  We’re looking at Joseph’s life in Egypt as he guides his brothers along the way of repentance.  It’s a great time to join us.

Sunday, April 9th – Sunday, April 16th
This year’s Holy Week services include the following:
Sunday, April 9th – Palm Sunday
Thursday, April 13th – Maundy Thursday.  Our traditional upper room-style vigil by candlelight begins at 6:30 pm
Friday, April 14th – Good Friday.  It’s our turn to host this year’s joint service with our Wesleyan friends from up on the hill.  Join us at 6:30 pm.
Sunday, April 16th – Easter Sunday.  There is no Sunday School.  We gather in the sanctuary at 9:30 am for a brief time of prayer and praise and testimonies.  A light breakfast buffet will be served downstairs immediately following.  Family worship begins at 10:45.
Plan now to be a part of this season’s special services!
