Sunday School 9:30 am        Family Worship Service 10:45 am
Wait in Prayer        Worship in Reverence        Depart to Serve
Be mindful that the few minutes before the service are set aside to help prepare for worship.  Some use this time to pray or meditate on the call to worship or just be quiet before the Lord.  Let’s keep our visiting before the service to a minimum
                                                                             – or better, let’s wait until after the service.

AA meets from 8:00 – 9:15 pm.

Bible study and prayer at the church is suspended this week in preparation for the Bicentennial weekend.  But join us on June 14th at 7:00 pm as we continue our study of the great themes of Genesis.  We’re in Chapter 46 and are looking at Jacob’s migration to Egypt.  It’s a great time to join us!

Friday, June 9th
Our weekend celebration kicks off at 6:30 pm with a service of remembrance, including a historical presentation about John Spencer (Traci Langworthy, JCC) and the dedication of two new Bicentennial windows.

Saturday, June 10th
Check the invitations for times and places for Saturday events, including the tree dedication, unsealing the old cornerstone, grilling 200 free hotdogs for the Village, and chicken barbecue at the Dole’s.

Sunday, June 11th
Following our regular family worship hour, we’ll share a catered meal together downstairs at 12:30, followed by a concluding service of hope (Dayle Keefer, CCCC).

Sunday, June 25th
3DYouth meets at the First Church of Evans at 4:00 pm for life lessons from Psalms followed by activities and our year-end barbecue!

Get the most out of the service by asking about our special listening devices.  Pick up one in the back or see an usher for help.  If yours isn’t working properly, don’t be bashful about raising your hand to ask for assistance.
