The Eden
United Methodist Church is sponsoring a “Crop Walk” again this year (October 1st)
to help support the Eden/North Collins Food Pantry and to fight world
hunger. See brochures in back for
details.

we’ll be back in the Old Testament as we begin a new sermon series in the book
of Exodus. Be praying for me and our

AA meets downstairs from 8:00-9:15 pm.
Tuesday,
September 12th
Full Board meets at 7:00 pm at the
church, preceded by Elders’ Meeting at 6:00.
Elders, come prepared to discuss the 1st 10 pages of the
Duncan article on the back table (“Foundations for Biblically Directed Worship”).
Wednesday,
September 13th
Bible study and prayer meets at the
church at 7:00 pm. We only have another
week or so in our study of the great themes of Genesis. We’re finishing Chapter 50 and are looking at
“unfinished business” between Joseph and his brothers and a final prospect of
hope in the Promised Land. We’re almost
done, but it’s still a great time to join us!

School for adults and teens begins next week.

Our final
Sunday Night Out for the season is scheduled for September 24th at
the Doles’ pond. Meet around 4:00
pm. Hot dogs (or something) will be
provided. Bring a dish to pass.
