Today is International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church around the world. This year’s focus is on North Korea (see bulletin insert and OpenDoorsUSA.org for more information). A World Watch List 2018 map is on the table in the Narthex along with specific prayer requests. Let’s remember to pray for the needs of our persecuted brothers and sisters.

Be praying for the Nominating Committee as it works to prepare a slate of condidates to be considered for office at the Annual Meeting in February 2019. To submit names see Olive, Fred, or Derek

Monday, November 5^th: AA meets downstairs from 8:00 – 9:15 pm.

Wednesday, November 7^th:  Midweek Bible Study and Prayer Meeting is back on track at the church at 7:00pm.  We’re in Chapter 6 of Luke and are considering Jesus’ so-called Sermon on the Plain. It’s a great time to join us!

Thursday, November 8^th: Choir Practice at 4:00pm

Sunday, November 11^th: 3DYouth meets at the First Church of Evans at 6:00pm for life lessons from John followed by games and refreshments.

Tuesday, November 13^th: Fulll Board meets at 7:00pm at the church, preceded by Elders’ Meeting at 6:00. Elders, come prepared to discuss the Letham article on the back table, “Union with Christ.”

·       Following the regularly scheduled meetings, the Nominating Committee wil begin to prepare a slate of candidates to be considered for office at the Annual Meeting in February 2019.
