Calendar
Monday, September 23rd:
AA meets downstairs from 8:00-9:15 pm.
Wednesday, September 25th: Join
us for Midweek Bible Study and Prayer Meeting at the church at 7:00 pm. We are in
Luke 9 and are coming down the mountain of revelation into the “slough of
despond.” Be ready to discuss the question: Why couldn’t the disciples heal the man’s son? It’s a great time to join
us!
Thursday, September 26th: Sit and Sew at the
church at 10:00 am.
Friday-Sunday, October 11th-13th: Plan now to part of our
annual FCC Leadership Weekend coming up next month. Drake Williams, this year’s
speaker, will lead us in a topic titled, “After Jesus Left Them: The Dramatic
Changed Lives of the Disciples Following His Resurrection.” Each session will
also provide devotional reflection for Christians living in today’s world. Lunch
will be provided. See insert for details.
Saturday, October 19th: The annual CCCC Fall
Banquet will be held at Fluvanna. Tim Dubeau, our new regional minister, will
speak on the theme of “A New Day in the CCCC.”
