ANNOUNCEMENTS
Wednesday, August 5th
While Derek is away, Bible Study and Prayer Meeting will meet at Harriett’s at 7:00 pm. Join us as we meet for mutual encouragement. On August 19th, we’ll resume our study of the book of James, called “BROTHER TO BROTHER.”
After this morning’s service, the Yoders are heading for Michigan and two weeks of vacation. Please direct any questions or concerns to Matt Clapper. Note the following preaching schedule:
August 9 – Tony Barone, Buffalo City Mission
August 16 – Bill & Darlene Miller, longtime friends of our fellowship and currently missionary candidates to Ecuador
August 23 – Larry Van Etten, Seneca Gospel Mission
Sunday, August 30th
Plan now to join us at the Hills’ pond for our annual outdoor worship service and picnic.
Sunday School may be in Summer recess, but don’t let that keep you from asking tough questions! During the Summer months, if there are questions or comments related to the morning message, let’s linger for a minute or so (whoever wants to) and discuss them. After people have gone through the line, we can find a quiet place for a brief, impromptu Q&A session. This is experimental, strictly voluntary, but it could be lots of fun! In any case, have a restful, refreshing Summer! – Derek
Get the most out of the services by asking about our special listening devices. Pick up one in the back or see an usher for help. If yours isn’t working properly, don’t be bashful about raising your hand to ask for assistance.
