ANNOUNCEMENTS
Dewey Missionary Society will once again put up a Christmas tree for the Seneca Gospel Mission. We will be collecting toys and food items through December 5th. For those contributing Christmas toys - the children (a lot of teens this year) like games, hand-held games, and sports balls (basketballs, footballs, and so forth). For those contributing food for the Christmas baskets, remember: no fresh foods. Only boxed and canned items, such as fruits & vegetables, soups, cereals and desserts (cake mixes with frosting).

Check out “Ask the Pastor” on Wednesday, November 17th at 2:00 pm (TCT Network and Dish Network channel 26, DirecTV does not carry the program), as Derek tries to make good use of this special opportunity. “Ask the Pastor” is a live call-in program with a panel of five area Senior Pastors answering viewer questions about life and the Bible from the Bible.

CALENDAR

Elders’ meeting at 6:30 pm. Come prepared to discuss Chapter 19 in the Elders Handbook (“The Great Commission).

Wednesday, November 17th
Choir practice at the church at 6:00 pm.

Join us for prayer and Bible Study at the church at 7:00 pm. Join us as we gear up for a new study in the book of Hebrews. Over the next number of months, we’ll be looking at the supremacy of Christ in all things, the book’s principal theme.

Thursday, November 18th
Dewey Missionary Society meets at the church at 10:00 am.
