This is Evelyn Falk’s 101st birthday!  Let’s remember her on this special day with prayers, cards and flowers.

Calling all Hymnal Stamping/Distributing Volunteers!  Our last shipment of hymnals has arrived, and it’s time to process them before our next Singspiration, October 28.  Please meet at church this Wednesday, October 3rd at 10:00 am to finish the job we’ve started.  Thank you!

Next Sunday we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper.  If you would like to participate but are unable to be here, see Derek or one of the Elders to arrange another time.  Don’t be shy about taking full advantage of this important gesture of unity with Christy and his body.  A fellowship meal is not being planned at this time.

3DYouth Group gets back on track here at 6:00 pm.  Life lessons from Timothy followed by Ultimate Frisbee and refreshments.

Wednesday, October 3rd  
Choir practice at the church at 6:00 pm.

Join us at the church for Bible study and prayer at 7:00 pm.  We are in Chapter 11 of our ongoing study in Hebrews (“The Supremacy of Christ”).

Saturday, October 6th
Join WNY churches at the Stockton Community Church to welcome keynote speaker Todd Venman (Wiltsie) at this year’s CCCC Fall Banquet.  Note:  this year there will also be a Children’s Rally (pre-K thru Grade 6) held at the same time as the banquet and will include Bible stories, games, and crafts.  There is no cost for the children’s meal.  Tickets for the adult banquet are $15.  See sign-up sheet in the foyer for details.

“Coffee with Calvin” reading group meets at the Doles’ pond to discuss Tim Keller’s The Reason for God.  Let’s relax around the fire for hot dogs and good discussion starting around 4:00 pm.

Sunday, October 28th
It’s our turn to host the fall Singspiration!  Join us for this special service of singing as Jim Raub leads us in a time of commemorating the Thanksgiving and Reformation seasons in song.  Details to follow.
