ANNOUNCEMENTS

We are pleased to welcome Lance and Laura Ostman back to North Collins!  The Ostmans have served for many years as missionaries in the Philippines among the Higaunan people.  Let’s give Lance our full attention as he opens God’s Word for us this morning

Next week, we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper.  If you would like to participate but are unable to be here, see Derek or one of the Elders to arrange another time.  Don’t be shy about taking full advantage of this important gesture of unity

 with Christ and his body.  A fellowship meal following the service

is NOT planned for next week.

Elders’ meeting at 6:00 pm.  Be prepared to discuss Chapters 21 & 22 in Piper (“Tanks/Peashooters” and “Uncertainty/Humility”).

Full Church Board meeting at 7:00 pm.

Wednesday, July 10^th

Choir practice at the church at 6:00 pm.

Join us at the church for Bible study and prayer at 7:00 pm.  We’re well into our survey of the Old Testament prophets – their ministries, their message, and their madness!  We’re beginning a survey of Amos.  It’s a great time to join us!

Sunday, July 14^th

3DYouth Group meets at the First Church of Evans at 6:00 pm for life lessons from Ruth.  This is the mission trip preparation meeting.  Youth and parents of youth planning to go need to be there.  Also, bring your health insurance card.

Sunday, July 21^st

Our annual outdoor service followed by picnic is scheduled for this day at Olive and Don Hill’s home on Langford Road.  Plan on worshiping the Lord at our usual 9:30 am time overlooking the water followed by a good time of fellowship over lunch.  Pray for sun!
