3DYouth Group meets at
the First Church of Evans TONIGHT at 6:00 pm for life lessons for life lessons
from Ruth. This is the mission trip
preparation meeting. Youth and parents
of youth planning to go need to be there.
Also, bring your health insurance card.
The church’s
financial statement for June 2013 is posted for review
in the office over
the copy machine.
As we move into a
season of family travel and light attendance, be praying for the church’s
continued financial stability during these challenging months.
CALENDAR
Wednesday, July 17th
Choir practice at the church at 6:00 pm.
Join us at the church for Bible study and prayer at 7:00 pm. We’re studying the Old Testament prophets –
their ministries, their message, and
their madness! We’re beginning a
survey of Amos. It’s a great time to
join us!
Our annual outdoor service followed by picnic is scheduled
for this day at Olive and Don Hill’s home on Langford Road. Plan on worshiping the Lord at our usual 9:30
am time overlooking the water followed by a good time of fellowship over lunch. Bring your favorite picnic dish to pass. Pray for sun!
