Sunday we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper.
If you would like to participate but are unable to be here, see Derek or
one of the Elders to arrange another time.
Don’t be shy about taking full advantage of this important gesture of
unity with Christ and his body. We are
NOT planning a fellowship meal at this time.
In a
couple of weeks, Derek is going to begin a sermon in the book of
Ecclesiastes. In preparation for that,
you may want to read this intriguing book ahead of time, have its themes fresh
in your mind, and be praying with Derek as we look forward to this enriching
time of learning together.

us for Bible study and prayer at the church at 7:00 pm. We’ve just begun the interesting little book
of Philemon. It’s a great time to join
us!
Thursday, May 29th
Elders’ meeting at the church at 6:30. Come prepared to discuss Chapter 3 in
Swetland (“Gambling, Pornography, and Divorce”) and the review questions that
follow.
Saturday, May 31st
Sunday School Teacher meeting at 9:00 am.
Sunday, June 1st
The 3DYouth Group / MPB Whiffle Ball Championship! Meet at the First Church of Evans at 2:30 pm
to warm up. Group time and picnic to
follow.
Saturday, June 7th
3DYouth Group spring clean-up service project (Community
Concern). Meet at the First Church of
Evans at 8:45 am. Debrief and head home
at 11:00 am.
